There used to be a thread of complaint just for that, you know.

It has been literally almost a decade now and I'm sure half the "customers" who try to buy lunchboxes don't even get their merchandise when they order them. Plus this is clearly supposed to be a free game from the very start, a thank you of sort on their part to their fan base. They just don't care about you nor do they care about upholding their side of the bargain with their customer. The amount of people who got "cheated" of their money because the game is so buggy you can lose your progress in a heartbeat (nothing is truly saved anywhere but your HD). Because this has been a promotional stunt game since the very start. Some just like to throw some money at them though. Is it necessary? Heck no! Totally optional-as I noted in my first post. Why do you care if someone wants to throw some extra cash at Steam / game publishers? It's a way to say thanks for making the item and how we can show some gratitude.
